Lifetime Warranty Policy

Every Nectrum product is built to last. We stand behind the quality of our materials and workmanship with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.


1. Warranty Type & Scope

This is a Limited Lifetime Warranty. It covers defects in materials and workmanship for the reasonable lifetime of the product — defined as the period during which the product can be expected to remain functional under normal, intended use. This warranty does not guarantee that the product will last forever.

Limited Lifetime

"Lifetime" refers to the reasonable expected life of the product under normal use — not the lifetime of the purchaser. Nectrum retains sole discretion in determining product lifespan.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Nectrum (nectrumgear.com) or from an authorized Nectrum retailer. It applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


2. What's Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects that arise under normal, intended use, including:

  • Fabric flaws or material failures (e.g., delamination, unexpected tearing under normal stress)
  • Stitching breakdowns (e.g., seam separation, thread failure)
  • Malfunctioning zippers, snaps, buckles, or other hardware
  • Structural failures resulting from defective workmanship

3. What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover issues arising from anything other than defects in materials or workmanship, including but not limited to:

  • Normal wear and tear — abrasions, fading, fraying, pilling, material fatigue, or other degradation from regular use
  • Accidental damage or misuse — cuts, burns, punctures, water damage (unless the product is marketed as waterproof), or use beyond the product's intended purpose
  • Improper care — failure to follow Nectrum's care instructions (e.g., unapproved cleaning methods, machine washing a hand-wash-only item)
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications — alterations, tailoring, or repairs performed by anyone other than Nectrum or a Nectrum-authorized service provider
  • Cosmetic damage — scratches, scuffs, discoloration, or similar issues that do not affect the product's function or structural integrity
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers — including secondhand, resale, or counterfeit goods
  • Incidental or consequential damages — Nectrum is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use a product, to the fullest extent permitted by law
Important This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by state, province, or country. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any statutory rights that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded.

4. How to File a Warranty Claim

All warranty claims require review and approval before any repair or replacement is issued.

  1. Gather Your Proof of Purchase: Your original order number, order confirmation email, or receipt is required. Claims without valid proof of purchase will be denied.
  2. Contact Us: Email support@nectrumgear.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim — [Your Order Number]".
  3. Include the Following:
    • Your full name and order number
    • A description of the defect
    • Clear, well-lit photographs showing the product and the specific defect (minimum 3 photos: full product, close-up of defect, and product label/tag)
    • Date of purchase and where the product was purchased
  4. Wait for Review: Our team will review your claim and respond within 5 business days. We may request additional information or photos.
  5. Ship If Requested: In some cases, we may require you to send the item to us for physical inspection before a determination is made. If inspection is required, shipping instructions will be provided.

5. Resolution & Remedies

If your warranty claim is approved, Nectrum will, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following remedies:

Remedy Details
Repair We will repair the defective product at no charge to you.
Replacement We will replace the product with the same item. If the exact product has been discontinued or is out of stock, we will offer a comparable replacement of equal or greater value.
Store Credit If neither repair nor replacement is feasible, we may issue store credit equal to the original purchase price of the item.

Nectrum reserves the right to determine which remedy is appropriate. No cash refunds are issued under this warranty. The choice of remedy is final.


6. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees on replacement shipments. Nectrum is not liable for items lost in transit to our facility; we recommend using a trackable shipping method.


7. Warranty Limitations

  • Non-transferable: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred, assigned, or extended to any subsequent owner.
  • No warranty extension: Repairs or replacements issued under this warranty do not create a new warranty or extend the original warranty period.
  • One claim per defect: Each warranty claim covers a single defect. Separate defects require separate claims.
  • Authorized purchases only: Products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers, secondhand markets, or auction sites are not covered.
  • Discontinued products: If a product is discontinued and no comparable replacement exists, Nectrum's obligation is limited to issuing store credit at the original purchase price.

8. Disclaimer of Other Warranties

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NECTRUM DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Some states and jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, Nectrum's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nectrum's total aggregate liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product in question. In no event shall Nectrum be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses) resulting from the use or inability to use a product, even if Nectrum has been advised of the possibility of such damages.


10. Your Statutory Rights

United States: This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.) or any applicable state consumer protection laws. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or consequential damages; in those states, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.

European Union: If you are an EU consumer, you benefit from a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under EU consumer law, regardless of any commercial warranty terms. This warranty is a voluntary commercial guarantee and is offered in addition to — not instead of — your statutory rights. Beginning 27 September 2026, additional information requirements regarding guarantees of conformity and commercial guarantees of durability may apply under the Empowering Consumers Directive (EU) 2024/825.

United Kingdom: If you are a UK consumer, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including rights to repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods, are not affected by this warranty.

Australia: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is in addition to those rights.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit or exclude any consumer rights that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded in your jurisdiction.


11. Fraud & Abuse

Nectrum reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith. This includes, but is not limited to: submitting false or misleading photographs, providing counterfeit proof of purchase, filing repeated claims for the same or similar issues, or deliberately damaging a product to trigger a warranty claim. Nectrum may, at its discretion, suspend or permanently revoke warranty coverage for any customer engaging in such conduct and may pursue legal remedies where appropriate.


12. Changes to This Warranty

Nectrum reserves the right to modify this warranty policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. The warranty terms in effect at the time of your original purchase will govern your warranty claim. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
